Level III - Shinpiden

The ultimate aim of the system of Reiki is to rediscover our innate great bright light; this light of playfulness, open and expanded, full of joy and passion for life.
— Frans Stiene

Shinpiden is a Japanese word meaning “mystery teachings”. It is the third and final level of instruction from the Usui Reiki Ryoho branch of Reiki. A student entering a Shinpiden class has made a personal decision to make the Reiki journey a life long choice. This course is designed for those who desire a greater consciousness of the concept of Oneness and wish to discover more about the mysteries of life. It is also suitable for any Reiki practitioners who may wish to teach the system of Reiki to others. Shinpiden is taught over three days of intensive instruction that is individualized and focused on learning all the elements of the system of Reiki. As one becomes conscious of the unity with everything and everyone, a strong energetic connection to the Reiki energy is experienced. At this level, the fourth Reiki symbol and jumon are introduced and much time is spent connecting to this energy. A large portion of the class is devoted to teaching the student how to perform attunements and Reiki and preparing one to teach professionally. There is ample time provided for practice and questions that will allow the student to complete this class with confidence and a clear understanding about all aspects of the system of Reiki and one’s role in sharing it with others.
At this time I am not teaching this class. I am referring all interested students to Frans Stiene at the International House of Reiki. I welcome all inquiries and questions about course content and preparation for enrolling in one of Fran’s classes.
